Important news about regular giving through online fundraising

In June 2019 BTmydonate closed down. Dont worry though if you are keen to make a one off donation to TEF or a regular monthly donation we have registered with Just Giving which is another reputable online donation platform.

Fantastic donations from TEF parents through their work.

Lynn Donald persuaded her employers Aitken Nairn to give us an amazing donation of £2430 when they merged with another local company: Lindsays.

Angela Hazelwood has raised over £307 by organising a Tombola at her office in Scottish Widows and is now encouraging her employer to match fund this amount.

Great work and shows how parents can help raise funds through their work and employers: well done

Past Fundraising Events

We would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all at ResolvIT Ltd for their recent donation of £3,000 to support the work that we do here at Tailor Ed Foundation. We are overwhelmed by their generosity! Donations like this always mean so much to us and as always any support that comes our way is always greatly appreciated.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Iain MacKenzie, who once again raised a generous sum by completing the Great Wilderness Challenge.

I’m from Aultbea in Wester Ross.  I’ve been participating in a local event known as the Great Wilderness Challenge (http://www.greatwildernesschallenge.info/) for close on 20 years, in fact next year will hopefully be my 20th event.

I’ve collected for various charities over the course of my participation but the last few years now I’ve been splitting monies raised between the GWC nominated charities and some mob called “Tailor Ed Foundation”.

I started on the 25 mile route when I was younger and fitter but recently I’ve been doing the 13 mile route.  It’s usually pretty good craic when there aren’t too many midges aren’t out, and they have even been known to hand out drams at some of the checkpoints :).

On a clear day (and even on a grey day) the scenery is amazing, even to a seasoned local like me.
Perhaps we could put together a Tailor Ed team of staff / associated parents and carers for my 20th event next year?  You don’t have to be hugely fit to participate, though it does obviously help a bit.  If you’ve done any medium walks, in say the Pentlands, you’d be able to tackle the GWC.  Tailor Ed can pass on my contact details if you have any questions.

Well done Iain!

We would like to extend a huge thank you to a team of pupils from Fettes College who won £3,000 in their annual Youth Philanthropy Initiative. Every chair had a goodie bag on it with gifts donated by Clarins and vouchers for Marriott Hotel beauty spa, and one person on each table was the lucky winner of some chocolate and a DVD if they found a tiger mask stuck under their seat.
