Please note that we have now closed the referral window for support beginning August 2026. This applies to children who are due to start their preschool year in 2026, with a scheduled start for P1 in August 2027.

East Lothian
We regret to announce that we have made the difficult decision to change our eligibility criteria for our Early Years service. We will now only accept referrals from families with an Edinburgh address., and will not be able to accept referrals from East Lothian from 2027 intake onwards.
We no longer receive direct funding for the East Lothian area, and so do not have the resources to continue providing support. If this situation changes, we will review our allocation of support accordingly.
