New Research into Autism and Bilingualism

My name is Sarah and I’m a research assistant at Edinburgh University. I’m part of a team working on a new study looking at the choices bilingual families face when raising a child with autism. We’re looking for bilingual families who have a child with autism to take part. Your child doesn’t have to speak more than one language for you to take part – we’re interested in families who are bilingual as a whole. The study involves having a friendly, informal chat with me in which I’ll ask you some questions about your experiences. There are no right or wrong answers to these questions – I’m just interested in learning more about your particular experiences.
All the information you give will be strictly confidential. To thank you, you’ll be given a £10 gift token.
