Community Group Work

About the Service

Through the EDAN Hub and Whole Family Wellbeing Fund, Tailor Ed is also funded to hold neurodivergent wellbeing groups in community settings. These groups follow a similar format to our referral groups but are run with a member of staff as co-facilitator. This is done with the aim of helping communities work towards delivering wellbeing groups on their own after delivering groups with us.

Each group will be expected to meet weekly for 8-12 weeks, with 1:1 check-ins provided by the member of staff throughout and after groupwork. The group will need to meet in a private, safe space where snacks, fidget toys, and other sensory items are accessible. Sessions are to be person-centred, trauma-informed, and inclusive.
